An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:25 scale capturing the famous Plymouth Barracuda exhibition special of 1966, nicknamed Hemi Under Glass. It was a celebrated wheelstander which, thanks to the engine placed behind the cabin, could drive on its rear wheels. The set comes from the period molds and is complemented by new wheels and decals in retro packaging.
Hemi Under Glass was an exhibition Barracuda fitted with a massive Hemi engine placed ahead of the rear axle. At events it captivated the crowds with long runs on its rear wheels and became a legend of the American drag racing scene of the 1960s.
Clean the body up carefully and spray it with an airbrush; bring out the bold finish with a clear coat. Assemble and paint the Hemi engine and the chassis before closing the body up. Apply the chrome parts and the decals right at the end, and fix the decals with a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
