This injection-molded plastic kit captures the American 1969 Ford F-100 Custom Cab pickup with a short bed in 1:25 scale. It is a limited release within the Model King edition. The set uses a new mold and contains an inline six-cylinder engine, which is a fairly rare engine option among models of this type.
At the turn of the sixties and seventies the fifth-generation Ford F-100 belonged among the popular light utility vehicles. The Custom Cab form brought better cab equipment, and the version with the short bed was popular for everyday as well as recreational use. The inline six represented a fuel-efficient and durable base powerplant.
Spray the body and the bed with primer and fine-tune smooth paint by sanding between the coats. Leave the chrome and gloss parts in their original finish or add metal shades; emphasize the engine and the chassis with shades and with gentle highlighting of the edges; apply the decals onto a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
