A plastic kit of a car model in 1:25 scale, tied to the television series Stranger Things.
Responsibility details are not available.
Stranger Things is a television series set in the American nineteen eighties. The cars in it are no mere backdrop; a number of scenes take place right beside them or inside them, which is why viewers remember them as well as they remember the characters. A model built from a subject like that will be recognized even by a visitor with no interest in modeling otherwise.
This is a kit of a car in 1:25 scale. An ordinary passenger car comes out at around eighteen centimeters in it, so the finished model fits into a display case and yet carries the detail of the interior and the chassis. The 1:25 scale is well established among car models, and plenty of paints, finishing touches and accessories can be found for it. The model comes unassembled and unpainted; assembly and painting are part of the fun.
With a car it is the body that decides. Fill and sand the seams left by joining the parts before painting, because every unevenness shows under gloss paint. Apply the paint in thin coats and let it dry out properly, and only then polish. If the model carries clear windows, glue them with a glue intended for clear parts; ordinary cement for plastic will fog them. Fit the tires only once the wheels have been painted, and you will save yourself laborious masking.
The kit will please followers of the series as well as modelers who build cars and are looking for a piece with a story. Anyone who builds for the pleasure of the result will appreciate that 1:25 scale forgives mistakes better than the smaller scales do.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
