The Ford Louisville, also known as the L-Line, was a long-produced American heavy truck with a pronounced angular cab and the engine at the front. Trucks of this range served in the United States for decades as versatile working machines — in long-distance and regional transport, as dump trucks, tankers or carriers of special bodies. Their characteristic design and their reliability made them an icon of American road haulage.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. First finish and paint the engine, the chassis and the cab interior, and only then close the bodywork up. Paint the cab with an airbrush over a primer; a gloss coat will bring out both the color and the decals. The chassis and the underside come to life with discreet weathering of dust, oil and service wear, which suits trucks well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
