The set contains two resin (3D-printed) representations of the AERO 1C drop tank with a capacity of 150 gallons, as it was used by the machines of the US Navy and the Marine Corps. It is an aftermarket accessory from Reskit for models of the A-4 Skyhawk light attack aircraft in 1:32 scale.
AERO 1C auxiliary tanks extended the range and the endurance of carrier aircraft and were carried on both ventral and underwing pylons. The Skyhawk operated with them for long decades with a number of units.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with superglue (cyanoacrylate). Fill any seams and sand them down with protection of the airways. A primer and a finish with an airbrush are recommended; the smooth surface of the tanks calls for careful preparation of the undercoat.
