A resin conversion set that turns a plastic kit of the A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft in 1:32 scale into the Israeli A-4H and A-4N variant. It is an accessory for advanced modelers, not a standalone model; the parts replace and complete sections of the base kit from Trumpeter. The set brings the typical Israeli changes: 30 mm DEFA cannon, a reworked fin and an extended engine exhaust pipe.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a light attack aircraft for carrier and land use alike. The Israeli Air Force modified its Skyhawks considerably, replacing the original 20 mm cannon with more capable 30 mm DEFA guns and fitting extended exhaust pipes meant to protect the machine against heat-seeking anti-aircraft missiles. These aircraft were used from the end of the 1960s.
Wash the parts free of any mold release agent, cut them off the casting blocks and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before starting the conversion, go through the instructions and compare the parts with the base kit. Protect your airways when sanding.
This is a conversion accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
