A6M5c Zero tail cone set, 1:32 is a CMK resin detail set for the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero fighter that renders the end of the fuselage behind the tail surfaces more faithfully.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker CMK is a detail add-on, not an aircraft kit. It holds resin parts for a more faithful rendition of the tail cone behind the tail surfaces on a 1:32 model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero fighter. The replacement sharpens the shape and the panel breakdown of this part of the fuselage compared with the plastic parts.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the main carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War. The A6M5c belonged to the late, more heavily armed and more durable variants deployed in the closing stages of the war.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Watch the continuity of the shape at the joint with the fuselage; fill any small gaps and sand them down. Wear respiratory protection while sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
