The set from the Czech manufacturer CMK is a detail accessory, not an airplane kit. It contains resin parts that faithfully capture the internal fuel tanks in the wing of a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero fighter in 1:32 scale. It makes it possible to show the internal structure of the wing exposed, with the tanks in place.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the main carrier-based fighter aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II. The late A6M5c version had, among other things, a revised fuel layout and heavier armament.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The tanks come into their own with metallic and muted shades, a fine wash and the piping picked out in a different tone. Wear respiratory protection while sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
