The BLG-66 Belouga is a French cluster bomb. It carries within it a large quantity of small munitions, which after release it scatters over the target instead of acting with a single hit. The body therefore has a smooth cylindrical shape with a pronounced tail, which differs from a classic bomb at first glance, and it is exactly that which makes the store a recognition mark of French strike loadouts. On a model the bombs come into their own in a pair as well as in larger numbers, according to the loadout you are building.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the rest down carefully, so that you do not disturb the edge of the bomb body. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry, otherwise the paint will not hold on the surface. Attach them to the model with super glue and try the joint dry first, because the store has to hang parallel to the axis of the aircraft; a bomb hung crooked is visible across the whole display case. The specific procedure of preparation and the recommended glue are to be found in the manufacturer's instructions.
