This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set contains cast resin landing gear wheels for A-4E Skyhawk models in 1:32 scale, specifically in the early version. It replaces the plastic wheels of the basic kit.
Cast resin faithfully captures the tread pattern of the tire, the hub and the axle boss, and the wheels are usually made with a hint of load on the tire, so once fitted the model looks realistic. The A-4 Skyhawk was an American light carrier attack aircraft with a delta wing, valued for its agility and its long service with a number of navies.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a primer before painting; the detail of the wheels will come out after a fine wash and drybrushing.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
