This item is not a model of the aircraft but a 3D-printed resin cockpit detail set of the highest level from Reskit for the plastic F-105D Thunderchief kit in 1:32 scale from Trumpeter. The Hyperdetailed edition is the top of the range: the maximum of separate parts, with even small buttons and levers as individual pieces, together with refined clear parts and an exceptionally fine internal structure ready for demanding painting and weathering. Compared with the Detailed version it offers still more individual elements; compared with Basic (ready-made 3D instrument decals) it is meant for those who want to paint the whole cockpit themselves.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was a massive supersonic fighter-bomber, used above all during the war in Vietnam; the single-seat D version made up the core of the strike squadrons and carried a large attack load. The roomy cockpit with its many instruments is a rewarding place to detail.
Separate the parts carefully from the supports, wash them in warm water with detergent and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the tub with primer and the interior color, pick out the instruments, levers and harnesses by hand, and finish with a fine wash and a matte coat.
This is an accessory for a model: the package contains neither the aircraft kit nor glue or paints.
