This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail set from CMK. It replaces the plastic exhausts from the box with faithful castings of the ejector type, with open outlets and fine relief. The set is intended for models of the British Hawker Hurricane fighter in the Mk.I and Mk.II versions.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British fighter that played a key part in the Battle of Britain. Ejector type exhausts used the jet effect of the gases for a slight gain in thrust and are a characteristic detail along the sides of the engine.
Wash the mold release off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue. Support the metallic look of the exhausts with a dark base, metallic pigments and rusty brown transitions; darken the open outlets so that they read as hollow.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
