1:32 Kh-29L (AS-14A Kedge) missiles with AKU-58 (2 pcs) is a resin set of heavy laser-guided air-to-ground missiles including the AKU-58 ejector rack. It is an ordnance accessory, not an aircraft kit.

The resin set brings the heavy Kh-29L air-to-ground missiles to 1:32 scale together with the AKU-58 ejector rack on which the missile is hung under the aircraft. The designation describes a two-piece package. The combination of the missile and the matching rack is practical for the modeler, because the rack is usually the weakest point of an ordnance load in plastic kits, or it is missing from the box altogether.
The Kh-29 is a heavy short-range air-to-ground missile meant to destroy hardened point targets. The version marked with the letter L uses semi-active laser guidance, that is it homes on the reflection of the laser beam illuminating the target. In the NATO code designation it corresponds to the Kedge family. Thanks to the great weight of its warhead the missile is massive and forms a prominent feature on the model. It is carried on an ejector rack, which pushes it away from the carrier to a safe distance before the motor ignites.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent; otherwise neither paint nor glue will hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surface. Only cyanoacrylate is used for gluing. With heavier parts, and a large missile is exactly that, it pays to reinforce the joint with a short wire pin. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. Apply primer before painting, then the base shade; bring out the warhead and the joints between the sections with a fine wash.
The set is an accessory, not a kit of the whole aircraft. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
