A replacement vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy for models of the twin-boom Lockheed P-38J/L Lightning fighter aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but glazing that replaces the thicker and less clear part from the Revell kit.
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was an American twin-engine fighter aircraft of the Second World War with a characteristic twin-boom layout. The J and L versions were among the best performing and most widespread and were deployed in Europe and in the Pacific.
Carefully cut the canopy out of the carrier sheet close to the outline and sand it down to the line. Do not rub the clear part: you achieve the gloss by dipping it in gloss varnish. It is glued with clear glue or with white PVA glue, which does not fog clear surfaces. The frames are easy to mask.
It is supplied as a standalone clear canopy without paints and glue; the Revell kit is not included in the package.
