This is NOT an airplane model but a small resin detail set: the faithfully cast air intake (the supercharger intake) for the Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighter in the G-2, G-4 and G-6 versions in 1:32 scale. The resin part with a hollow leading edge replaces the simplified, often blanked-off plastic intake from the kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf-109 was the main fighter of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. The G series, nicknamed Gustav, was among the most widespread and could be told apart, among other things, by the characteristic air intake on the left side of the engine cowling. A realistically hollowed-out intake is a detail that everyone notices.
Separate the part from the casting block, wash the mold release agent off it and glue it on with super glue. Darken the inside of the intake and spray the outer surface in the scheme of the cowling. Sand resin with your airways protected if sanding is needed.
The set contains resin accessory parts. The kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
