This is a detail accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The set contains cast resin undercarriage wheels for MiG-23 models in 1:32 scale and is aimed at the two-seat UB trainer version and the early versions (S, MS, MF, M). It replaces the plastic wheels of the base kit.
The two-seat UB trainer and the early single-seat machines had a different form of wheel than the later fighter versions, which is why the correct set for this group matters. Resin captures a faithful tread, hub and center, and the wheels are usually done with a hint of load on the tire. The MiG-23 was a Soviet fighter with a variable-geometry wing, and the UB served to train pilots.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat before painting; the detail comes out well after a fine wash.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
