Nakajima B5N Kate (open canopy): fabric belts 1:32 (HGW, Basic Line)

An add-on detail set, not a kit. The Basic Line range from HGW holds seat belts of fine microtextile complemented by photo-etched metal buckles. The belts are laser-cut and are easily arranged into a realistic form. The set is intended for a model of the Japanese Nakajima B5N Kate torpedo bomber in the variant with an open cockpit canopy, in 1:32 scale: an open canopy leaves both the cockpit and the belts fully in view.

Use

  • Fold the belts gently and adapt them to the shape of the seats: the fabric drapes faithfully.
  • Fit the photo-etched buckles and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • The belts can be toned and weathered for a more realistic look.

  • Builders of aircraft models in large scale with an open cockpit.
  • Modelers for whom the plastic belts from the box are not enough.

This is an accessory for building a model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
