Packard Landaulet 1912 1:32 (Smer) is a plastic kit of a historic luxury car of the early twentieth century in the form of an elegant veteran.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the historic Packard Landaulet car of 1912 in 1:32 scale. It is an older, classically conceived mold suitable for collectors of veteran cars and for modelers who like simpler kits with a period charm. The model represents a formal car with landaulet coachwork. The exact contents of the package are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Packard was an American carmaker famous for its luxury and formal vehicles. Landaulet coachwork had a folding roof over the rear seats, while the driver's compartment stayed open or was covered by a fixed section; it was a form favored by wealthy owners and by chauffeur-driven cars. Cars of 1912 belong among the veterans of the early motoring era, with tall bodies, large wheels and plenty of chrome and brass.
With an older mold, reckon on careful cleaning up of the seams and the lugs. The period look is set off by brass and copper shades on the lamps and the fittings and by gloss paint on the body. The spoked wheels and the details of the interior come into their own with separate painting. Treat the folding roof with a matte paint for the impression of fabric.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
