This accessory from Quinta Studio brings formation lights in red and blue, in the Type A version. The parts are 3D-printed, translucently colored, and are applied on thin carrier paper like a decal. The set is universal and suits aircraft models in 1:32 scale.
Formation lights helped aircraft hold position within a formation, and on a model they form a small but effective feature. The pre-applied color and raised shape give a realistic look that is difficult to achieve by hand-painting.
Cut out the light and soak it briefly in lukewarm water to release it from the backing paper, then slide it into the designated spot, ideally over a glossy painted surface, which acts as the adhesive. Do not use a decal softener, as it will attack the print. A drop of clear varnish on top enhances the impression of an illuminated cover.
This is a detailing accessory, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
