The set contains two resin (3D-printed) boarding ladders for models of the two-seat versions of the F-105 Thunderchief fighter-bomber in 1:32 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory from Reskit that completes an aircraft standing on its gear with faithful detail of the ground support around it.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber used above all over North Vietnam. The two-seat F-105F and the specialized anti-radar F-105G Wild Weasel flew demanding strikes and suppression of air defenses. The boarding ladder made it easier for the crew to get into the high-set cockpit.
Separate the fine parts carefully from the print supports, wash them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Spray the ladders with primer and finish them with an airbrush or a brush; they come into their own in a diorama with a ground crew.
