A large kit of the modern Russian multirole fighter in 1:32 scale from Trumpeter. It is an injection-molded plastic model to which the manufacturer adds a set of photo-etched parts and metal landing gear legs for greater strength. The model is made up of a large number of parts spread over many sprues, and rubber tires are included as well.
The MiG-29SMT is an upgraded version of the proven MiG-29 frontline fighter. It brings improved avionics and a new weapons control system, a wider range of carried armament and greater range thanks to a larger fuel load. This variant entered service with the Russian Air Force at the turn of the first decade of the 21st century.
Use liquid modeling cement on the joints of the plastic parts and glue the metal landing gear legs with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply primer before painting; the shades and the camouflage itself are best handled with an airbrush. The photo-etched parts refine the detail of the cockpit and the airframe.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
