This is not an airplane model but a resin (3D printed) accessory. The package contains two underwing drop tanks of 2250 liters, as carried by Tornado combat aircraft with the British (RAF) and Saudi (RSAF) air forces. The set completes the matching kit in 1:32 scale; the manufacturer of the accessory is Reskit.
Drop tanks extend the range and are a characteristic element of the Tornado's stores. 3D printing offers a smooth surface with no parting lines and fine detail of the lugs and the filler caps, which on molded plastic calls for cleaning up afterwards.
Wash the uncured resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and do any sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the tanks according to the RAF or RSAF scheme you choose and add the service markings.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
