US M43 500 lb bombs (HE), a resin set of aircraft ordnance in 1:32 for a faithful rendering of American high-explosive bombs of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but a resin accessory set from the Czech manufacturer CMK. It contains faithfully cast American high-explosive (HE) bombs of the M43 type weighing 500 pounds from the period of the Second World War. The set is intended for arming models of American aircraft and for bringing dioramas in 1:32 scale to life.
The M43 bomb belonged to the standard range of American high-explosive aircraft bombs of the Second World War. The 500 pound version was carried by numbers of fighter-bombers and bombers during attacks on ground targets. Faithful castings with tail fins will serve well both under the pylons of a model and as an accessory to an ordnance scene.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The bombs are painted according to period regulations and completed with color bands; a fine dusting with pigments will help the realism.
The set contains resin accessory parts only; the model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
