About product

Pixelated Modern Camo stencil (Vallejo)

This is NOT a paint and not a model but an aid for painting. It is a stencil with pixelated (digital) patterns cut out of it, through which you spray modern pixelated camouflage. The patterns are sized for models in 1:35 and 1:32 scale, that is mainly military vehicles and larger figures.

What the stencil is for

  • Quick and repeatable work on pixelated (digital) camouflage.
  • Creating crisp, regular shapes that are very hard to draw freehand.
  • Painting modern camouflage schemes on vehicles, containers and accessories.

Usage tips

  • Let the base coat dry completely and only then lay the stencil on.
  • Spray with an airbrush in thin coats at right angles to the surface so that the paint does not run under the edges.
  • Hold the stencil down lightly or fix it in place, and work in sections on curved surfaces.
  • Clean the stencil after use so that it stays crisp for the next models.

Who it is for

For modelers of modern subjects and for anyone who wants accurate pixelated camouflage without laborious drawing.

This is a painting aid, not a paint or a model. Paints and an airbrush are not included in the package.
