An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light anti-aircraft gun 2 cm Flak 38 in the late production version, supplemented with the single-axle Sd.Ah.51 transport trailer. Scale 1:35, made by Hobby Boss. The box holds plastic parts, photo-etched parts and decals; an optional gun shield is included as well.
The 2 cm Flak 38 was a German light automatic anti-aircraft gun of 2 cm caliber, widely used in the Second World War. For transport the mount was loaded onto the single-axle Sd.Ah.51 trailer, which allowed the weapon to be brought into a firing position quickly. It was one of the most widespread German artillery weapons of the time.
It is a small and intricate build; follow the instructions and bend the photo-etched parts carefully. Apply a primer before painting, lay the shades down with an airbrush and finish the weathering with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects. Leave the movable unglued parts working until after painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
