Responsibility details are not available.
Plastic kit of the Soviet 2P16 tracked launch vehicle with a missile of the 2K6 Luna rocket system, designated FROG-5 in the West, in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model consists of a large number of parts and contains a multi-part hull, individual track links and photo-etched parts. The missile itself and the launcher are included.
The 2K6 Luna was a Soviet short-range rocket system of the end of the 1950s. It carried unguided, solid-fuel, spin-stabilized rockets launched from the 2P16 tracked vehicle built on a tank chassis. In NATO service the version with the 3R10 rocket carried the designation FROG-5. The system served to support ground units at long range.
Give attention to the launcher and the missile, which are the dominant feature of the model. Assemble the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull, use a thin plastic cement and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Use a primer and an airbrush; the chassis will come to life with washes and dust weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
