An injection-molded plastic model of the German three-ton L701 truck in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand MiniArt. The kit offers rich detail: a fully detailed engine and cab interior, photo-etched metal, clear parts for the windows and lights, and the option of building the doors and the hood open or closed.
The L701 was a German truck of about three tons payload, of the kind used in civilian and military service during the Second World War. Trucks of this class carried personnel, material and supplies and formed the backbone of rear-area logistics. Because they were so widespread, similar vehicles turn up in a whole range of period scenes and make a rewarding basis for dioramas.
This is a detailed build: assemble and paint the engine and the cab interior before you close the body up. Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply primer and spray the paints with an airbrush in thin coats. The chassis and the cargo bed come alive with a wash into the recesses and dust or mud pigments; an open door and hood let you show the detailed interior and engine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
