The 5 cm Flak 41 was a German automatic anti-aircraft cannon of medium caliber from the Second World War. It was fielded only in limited numbers and combined a high rate of fire with reach up to medium altitudes. The long, slender barrel is a prominent visual feature of the model, and it is exactly where a metal part pays off most.
Dry-fit the part, clean up the mating surface and attach it with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and use a primer for metal; a flat paint then covers the shiny surface better.
