An injection-molded plastic kit of the British heavy armored car AEC Mk.III from Miniart in 1:35 scale. The model captures the massive welded hull and the turning turret of the real vehicle. Miniart kits are typically richly rendered; take the exact contents of the package from the instructions supplied.
AEC was a family of heavy armored cars built by the British company Associated Equipment Company during the Second World War. The Mk.III version was one of the most heavily armed British armored cars of its day and carried a turret with a gun. AEC cars appeared from the beginning of the 1940s and gradually received ever stronger armament and armor. The Mk.III version was committed to the fighting in northwest Europe with British and Allied units at the close of the Second World War, where it made good use of its firepower.
Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. Finish and paint the chassis, the running gear and the interior elements before you close up the hull. A primer and an airbrush are the way to go; you can bring the British camouflage scheme to life by lightening the surfaces, with washes into the recesses and with pigments for dust effects on the wheels and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
