An injection-molded plastic kit of the AH-64D heavy attack helicopter in the Israeli Air Force version, nicknamed Saraf, in 1:35 scale. Besides the plastic parts, the extensive package from Meng also holds photo-etched components and pre-cut masking tape. The engine, the optical sight in the nose and the tires with the sag from their own weight are all rendered in detail.
The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter. The Israeli Air Force operates the Saraf version, modified from the standard AH-64D with additional equipment and countermeasure dispensers. The machine carries a powerful sensor and weapon system and serves to destroy ground targets and provide close air support.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the interior before closing up the fuselage. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, apply a primer before painting and spray the paint with an airbrush for the best result. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The pre-cut masks make painting the glazing easier. This is a large model and a more demanding build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
