Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Austin armored car of the 1918 pattern in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The set captures the vehicle in British service and offers a fully rendered interior and photo-etched parts. It is built as an unassembled kit with a strong emphasis on detail.
Austin armored cars were among the widely used British armored vehicles of the First World War period. They were built on the chassis of the Austin passenger car, fitted with an armored body and two turrets with machine guns. The 1918 pattern represented a mature version of the design; the vehicles served in the closing stages of the war and afterwards, among other places in British service on various fronts. The twin-turret layout made it possible to fire in two directions at once.
Thanks to the full interior, paint and assemble the inside before you close the body; the hatches and covers can be built open to show the interior. Glue the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. The armor plates are best given a smooth coat over a primer, and for weathering use washes in the rivets and the gaps and pigments for dust.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
