An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet BA-64B light armored car in 1:35 scale from LANMO Model. The newly designed kit contains a full interior and lets you open the side hatch, the hood and the vision hatch. Photo-etched parts and decals for several finishes are included, here in the configuration of a captured vehicle used by the German army (the BA-64B(r) designation).
The BA-64 was a fast light armored scout car that the Red Army deployed from 1942. It was lightly armored, reached speeds of up to around 80 km/h and carried a 7.62 mm machine gun in a small rotating turret. Some of the captured vehicles were used on by the Wehrmacht under a designation with the suffix (r) for captured equipment.
Finish and paint the interior before closing the hull. Bend the photo-etched parts precisely; the fine hatches can be left open for a view inside. For weathering use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects; a matte varnish will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
