This injection-molded plastic kit from MiniArt represents the Soviet cargo tram of the X (Ch) series in the large 1:35 scale. The set offers richly broken-down parts, clear glazing, doors that can be built open or closed, overhead line supports and a base with track. Several variants of decal markings are available.
Trams of the X (Ch) series were among the widespread two-axle cars of Soviet urban transport. The cargo version served to carry material along the existing tram network. Thanks to their simple and tough construction these cars stayed in service for decades and are a rewarding subject for urban dioramas and for period scenes.
Build and paint the body, the underframe and the interior separately and only then close the whole up, so that the detail of the cab comes out. Mask the glazing. For a realistic look use washes in the panel lines and fine pigments for the wear and dirt of a working car. The base with track can be worked into a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
