An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Takom capturing the modern Chinese Type 100 infantry fighting vehicle. The kit offers hatches that can be built open or closed, workable running gear with rolling wheels and assembled tracks, and photo-etched parts for the fine details.
The Type 100 (the ZBD-100 series) represents the current generation of Chinese tracked fighting and support vehicles with a high share of sensors and digital equipment, made to work together with the newest armored vehicles. The vehicle was shown publicly in 2025 and reflects a shift in design — among other things the front placement of the powerplant.
We recommend assembling and painting the running gear and the interior elements before the hull is closed up. Use thin cement on the plastic, treat the surfaces with a primer first and lay the paint down with an airbrush. Build the weathering with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects; bond the photo-etched parts with super glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
