This is a 3D printed resin figure from the Ukrainian brand Spalah, not a kit. The zombie figure nicknamed Rotter represents a decaying character with coarsely rendered anatomy, torn clothing and a pronounced skin surface; it suits horror vignettes, fantasy scenes and post-apocalyptic dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Zombie figures are a rewarding subject for creators of atmospheric scenes. They let you experiment with painting skin, wounds and decay, and combined with ruins or equipment they round out strongly pitched scenes.
Separate the figure from the print supports carefully, clean it up and wash it free of print resin residue. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Paint the skin in cold, unhealthy shades with glazes into the recesses; pick out the wounds and the clothing with a wash, dry brushing and gloss accents for a wet look.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
