An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern German armored bridgelayer Iguana (Leguan) in the PSB-2-14(m) build, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model is based on the chassis of the Leopard 2 tank and depicts the vehicle with a shorter bridging structure than the PSB-2-28 version carries. The set contains a great many parts, a multi-part molded hull, rubber tracks and a photo-etched part.
The Iguana (Leguan in German) is a modern bridging system on the Leopard 2 chassis that lets engineer units cross obstacles and watercourses quickly. The PSB-2-14 build works with a shorter bridge assembly, while the PSB-2-28 version lays a longer bridge from overlapping sections. The vehicle replaces the previous generation of bridging equipment.
First assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull, and only then fit the bridge superstructure, whose mechanism is best finished separately. The rubber tracks and the photo-etched part call for different glues. Apply the base with an airbrush; bring out the modern NATO camouflage with washes in the recesses and fine pigments for dust.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
