Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German R-12 heavy motorcycle in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. The model faithfully captures the characteristic flat-twin (boxer) engine, the frame and the drivetrain of the motorcycle. The box also contains figures, which make it possible to set the motorcycle into a combat scene.
The R-12 was a German heavy motorcycle with a flat-twin (boxer) engine of 750 cc, built in the second half of the 1930s and at the beginning of the 1940s. Over thirty thousand were made in civilian and military form. After 1938 it became one of the standard heavy motorcycles of the Wehrmacht and was used for liaison, reconnaissance, dispatch work and by the military police. It often ran with a sidecar, but it was used solo as well.
Glue the small parts of the frame and the engine carefully and let them cure. Treat the base with a primer and spray the bodywork and the tank in German gray or dark yellow according to the period. Set the chromed and glossy areas apart, and bring out the leather saddle and the accessories with washes. Add dust pigments to the lower areas. Paint the figures separately before the final composition.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
