An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light tank Pz.Kpfw.35(t) in 1:35 scale from Academy. The box contains plastic parts, photo-etched parts, clear parts, tracks and a decal sheet; figures are usually included as well. The model allows the hatches to be built open or closed.
The Pz.Kpfw.35(t) was a light tank of Czechoslovak origin (the LT vz. 35), which after 1939 was taken into service by the German army under a designation with the suffix (t) for vehicles of Czechoslovak origin. It was armed with a 37 mm gun and a machine gun and was used, among other places, in the campaign in France and at the beginning of the fighting on the Eastern Front. It was a reliable machine that supplemented the German light tanks in the first years of the war.
First assemble the running gear and the road wheels and paint them, and only then finish the hull and the turret. Paint and weather the tracks before they go on. For painting use the early German shades (panzergrau); bring out the panel lines and the rivets with a dark wash and apply mud and dust pigments to the running gear. When you place the jerrycans behind the turret, check that the turret still turns freely.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
