A resin half figure of a German tank driver in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK. It is an accessory with which the open driver's hatch of models of German armored vehicles of the Second World War can be brought to life. The half figure is conceived to fill the hatch from the waist up; the lower part of the body is not needed.
The drivers of German tanks and tank destroyers sat in the front part of the hull and often looked out of the open hatch while on the move. A figure in a period uniform gives a scene scale and a human dimension, whether it is a static display or a diorama.
Wash the resin figure free of the mold release agent, cut the casting block off and glue it with cyanoacrylate. When painting, a primer, shading and dry brushing work well to draw out the detail of the uniform and the face; acrylics or oil glazes are suitable.
