The plastic kit Hobby Boss German VK.3001(P) in 1:35 scale captures the German prototype tank of the early part of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German VK.3001(P) prototype tank in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and offers a rich breakdown of parts, photo-etched parts and individual track links. It is a detailed build aimed rather at more experienced modelers.
The VK.3001(P) was a German prototype tank developed at the turn of 1940 and 1941 as part of the search for a new, heavier vehicle. The design with its alternative propulsion solution never reached series production, but it served as one of the development steps from which later heavy tank projects grew. It therefore remained an interesting technical stepping stone rather than a machine committed to combat.
Assemble the individual track links patiently, as this is the more time-consuming part of the build. Paint the running gear and the lower hull first. Lay a primer on the model and then the covering shade with an airbrush; create the weathering and dust effects with washes and pigments. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate and take care over a clean fit of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
