A precisely die-cut self-adhesive painting mask for the glazing of the Heinkel He 111 H-6 model in 1:35 scale from the Czech brand Art Scale. It is intended for the large kit from Border Model. It is a double-sided mask: it masks the frames of the glazing inside and outside.
The He 111 has its characteristic fully glazed greenhouse nose made up of many small frames, and in the large 1:35 scale there is an enormous amount of that glazing. Masking it by hand with tape would take endless time; a pre-cut mask shortens the work fundamentally and gives sharp frames and clean glass. The double-sided version also lets you spray the frames in the interior color within and the exterior color without, as on the real aircraft. With glazing as broken up as this, a mask really does save a great deal of time.
The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, easily recognized by its fully glazed nose with the asymmetric pilot's canopy. The H-6 version was among the most widespread and was committed on many fronts. For an aircraft, 1:35 is an unusually large scale: this is a sizeable model matching a modern premium kit.
For builders of the large 1:35 Heinkel He 111 from Border Model who want to avoid endless hand masking and want the glazing sprayed perfectly inside and out.
This is an accessory, not a model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
