This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter represents the American HEMTT M1120 heavy cross-country truck with drive to all eight wheels and a system for loading and handling containers (CHU/LHS). The extensive set offers a complete drivetrain, a multi-part molded cab, clear parts, rubber tires and a photo-etched fret.
The HEMTT is a family of 8x8 heavy tactical vehicles of the US Army built by Oshkosh. The M1120 version carries a load handling system (LHS) that makes it possible to load and set down a container or a flatrack without a crane. HEMTT vehicles are the backbone of American military logistics.
Assemble and paint the cab and the chassis with the drivetrain as units before you join them. Use liquid cement on the plastic and cyanoacrylate glue on the metal and photo-etched parts. Fit the rubber tires only after painting. After the base coat with an airbrush, bring the vehicle to life with edge highlighting, washes and dust pigments on the chassis and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
