A border barrier 1:35 by Plusmodel: six resin parts, a wooden part and copper wire.
Responsibility details are not available.
A barrier is an element that gives a scene meaning in a single stroke: suddenly it is clear that a border runs here, that there are checks, and that something different lies beyond it. The horizontal line of the boom also divides the composition and lets figures be placed on both sides. The set is cleverly arranged: six resin parts make up the stand and the mechanism, a wooden part serves as the boom, so it has real wood grain, and copper wire stands in for the rods and cables.
According to the manufacturer the package contains six resin parts, a wooden part and copper wire. Terrain, paints and glue are not included.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. The boom is usually striped, so after a base coat of white, mask the stripes and spray the second shade, or paint them with a fine brush. Paint flakes off a barrier in service, so rub the edges back and add a deposit of mud and pigment dust at the foot of the stand.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
