Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli Nagmashot heavy armored personnel carrier in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The package contains over seven hundred parts on fifteen sprues, the lower part of the hull molded with a multi-part slide mold, two photo-etched parts and individual track links. The built model measures 223.4 mm long and 100.2 mm wide.
The Nagmashot was created in the 1980s by converting the Centurion tank, which the Israeli army operated under the designation Shot. The turret was removed and the crew compartment and the engine compartment received considerably heavier armor, so that the machine could carry infantry even where there was a risk of anti-tank fire. It was used mainly in southern Lebanon and in built-up areas, where lightly armored carriers had proved inadequate. Its turretless silhouette, its high sides and its rugged rear end are among its recognition features.
Finish and paint the running gear before you fit the side skirts. Glue the individual track links in longer runs and let them dry in place on the wheels, so that they hold a natural sag. Israeli vehicles tend to be heavily dusted, so it pays to lighten the basic gray-green tone on the horizontal surfaces and to add dust pigments and a dark wash in the gaps.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
