This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale depicts the Standard N industrial wheeled tractor in the version of 1936 to 1938. According to the manufacturer it is a finely worked model with photo-etched parts, a detailed engine and chassis, faithful wheels and a decal sheet. The kit is a fitting subject for industrial and early war dioramas.
The Standard N is a wheeled tractor of the second half of the 1930s which was used as a universal industrial and towing machine: in ports to move cargo, in factories to handle heavy loads and on building sites as a tractor for various equipment. Thanks to its robust construction it was part of the everyday equipment of prewar industrial infrastructure.
The model contains a number of small parts, for which tweezers and a calm hand are called for. Glue the plastic parts with a thin cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. The detailed engine and chassis will stand out if the open areas are left open, which invites graduated painting with an airbrush, washes into the pressings and pigments for the dust, rust and grease of a working machine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
