The Kfz.2 was a light signals and courier car of the Wehrmacht built on the civilian Mercedes-Benz 170VK chassis. It was a four-wheeled vehicle with rear-wheel drive, an open body with a folding canvas roof and a modest inline engine. In the Kfz.2 version it carried a radio set and served for communication and for passing orders between units, above all in the early years of the war.
With vehicles that have an interior it pays to assemble, paint and pick out the inside with the radio equipment before the body is closed up. Cut off and glue the small parts and the photo-etch carefully — the plastic with thin cement, the photo-etch with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Once the base shade and the varnish are down, bring out the recesses and the rivets with a dark wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments, above all on the chassis and the tires.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
