An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet heavy tractor KZKT-537L in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The package contains parts for the cab and the frame, a photo-etched sheet and eight large rubber tires; for the exact parts count follow the instructions.
The KZKT-537L is derived from the MAZ-537 family of heavy wheeled vehicles and was designed as an airfield tow tractor for towing heavy aircraft and for other demanding handling work. Its 8x8 layout, powerful engine and massive frame make it a typical representative of Soviet heavy transport and tractor equipment of the Cold War.
The large chassis and the eight wheels call for careful alignment so that the vehicle stands straight; it is a good idea to paint the wheels separately before final assembly. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, even the surface out with a primer and apply the paint with an airbrush. You can bring the extensive surfaces to life with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
