The M4 Sherman was the standard American medium tank of the Second World War and served with a number of Allied armies as well. The M4A1 version had the upper hull cast in one piece, which gave it its typical rounded shape. It was a reliable, easily produced and easily repaired machine, built in enormous numbers. The mid production configuration reflects the changes introduced during wartime production, for example details of the turret, the hatches and the running gear.
Assemble and align the running gear before closing the hull. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; the precise fit deserves calm and care. We recommend a primer base and an airbrush in thin coats. Bring the olive drab to life with modulation and filters, and the cast hull suits a fine cast texture. Washes will pick out the rivets and the details, and pigments will create dust and mud on the running gear.
