The MHU-141M is a munitions trailer of the kind that belongs to the ordinary equipment of an airfield. It serves to transport stores and to bring them up under an aircraft, so it appears wherever a machine is being prepared for flight. Equipment like this is exactly what gives an aviation scene its operational credibility: a finished aircraft model with nothing around it reads as an exhibit, whereas a loaded trailer beside it hints at what is going on.
The set brings the MHU-141M trailer in the version with a flat cargo platform, which the name describes as type 2, in 1:35 scale. The exact number of parts, the extent of assembly and any variants are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
If the parts are not polystyrene, ordinary cement for plastic models will not work on them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and with epoxy on larger contact areas. Cut away any excess material and traces of production with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the surfaces. Before painting, wash everything in lukewarm water with dish soap and let it dry. Airfield equipment tends to be markedly worn, so it pays to add scuffs on the edges, dust around the wheels and greasy stains on the platform to the base shade. Assemble the running gear parts on a flat surface so that the trailer stands on all its wheels.
