It is one of the types that have appeared on the modeling market only in the last few years, even though these are vehicles in service today in large numbers. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The ZBD-04A is a tracked infantry fighting vehicle with a manned turret, in which a combination of a gun and a launcher for guided missiles is complemented by a rapid-firing cannon of smaller caliber. The vehicle carries a squad of infantry, who dismount through rear doors, and it is built to accompany tanks in formation. The rendering with the letter A is the improved version of the original vehicle with reworked armor and equipment.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull before you close the whole thing up. Fit the tracks only after the running gear has been painted and shape them into a sag before the glue dries. Modern Chinese vehicles wear broken-up camouflage patterns with fairly sharp transitions, for which masks suit better than freehand spraying. At the end dust pigments on the running gear and a light wash into the gaps are useful, but do not overdo the wear; peacetime vehicles tend to be well maintained.
